Services:
We would love for you to join us at any of our services. We have a full liturgical schedule which you can always see on our schedule of services. Everyone is welcome to attend. You can see our Visitor’s page for everything you might want to know about attending. If you’d like to setup a visit for a class or group, please contact Fr Joshua. We’d be glad to host a Q&A afterward.
Ministries:
- We have Adult Education classes, catechism classes, and Sunday school for our children.
- Our parish also sponsors a home building trip to Mexico each year.
- We are active in college ministries (OCF)
- We have lunch after Liturgy together every Sunday, with families rotating for cooking.
- We do “family camp” together every summer at a nearby camp.
- We have a weekly toddler play group.
- Our parish also has a lively fellowship with various gatherings during the week, including a men’s group and a lady’s group.
You can read more about these on the parish activities page.

We currently have four clergy assigned to our parish. See the Contact page for getting in touch with any of them.
Parish History
From its 1916 start as a Russian immigrant parish, drawn from the many families who came to work in Albion’s foundries, Holy Ascension has ebbed and flowed over the past century, growing today to a vibrant community with about 150 worshippers each Sunday. (more historical pictures of our parish). Having outgrown our current building and its various issues, we are working hard on building a new temple.
