How to Donate: There are several ways to donate.  All donations are tax-deductible. You can read more about our tax-exempt status here.

—>> “Bill Pay”:  Most banks offer automated regular payments through their “Bill Pay” service. For this you only need the church’s name and address (see below).  This service is typically free, and it’s preferred because you can setup monthly giving to be automatic.

—>> EasyTithe:. This is our online giving site which you can use to make a one-time donation, or use for regular automated giving.  It works for credit-cards, debit cards,  or bank accounts, but it does add on a small fee.  You will find it here: www.easytithe.com/holyascension.  There are different funds to choose from on that page.

—>> ZELLE:  “Zelle” is a service offered by many banks. You can see if your bank offers it using the Zelle Web site.  It offers a direct bank-to-bank transfer which is immediate and almost completely free.  You can set it up using your bank’s online services.  Depending on your bank, you might have to do it using your bank’s app on your phone instead of your bank’s website.  Once you’ve enabled Zelle with your bank, you’ll be able to specify Holy Ascension as a target account using our email address: .  

There are a couple downsides to Zelle.  For one, it usually doesn’t offer any sort of automated periodic payments, so you have to go in and do it manually each time, which means you’ll be more likely to miss a payment.  Secondly, there is a “memo” field when you send money, and it makes it seem like the recipient will see what you type there, but that information does not usually come through.   So, if you have a specific intent for the money, or you would like a receipt for taxes for it, you should also send a corresponding email to .

—>> VENMO: You can also donate using the Venmo app on your phone.  Our Venmo name is @orthodoxchurchalbion.   There is also a “notes” field if you’d like to specify a fund.

—>> US MAIL: Donations may also be sent via US mail to our PO Box. Make checks out to “Holy Ascension Orthodox Church”.
