Every summer we send a team down to St. Innocent Orphanage near Tijuana, Mexico in order to build a home for a family in need.  We partner with Project Mexico and St Innocent Orphanage to organize the annual trip.  You can read more about how the trip works on their Homebuilding Page.

We like to take pictures on these trips, so here’s the photo stream from our 2023 trip and also from June 2024, 2025, and 2026.  As you’ll see in the pictures, we also do some sightseeing and touristy stuff in Mexico and San Diego as part of the experience.

The 2027 trip isn’t planned yet.  The dates will be announced in the email newsletter and this page will updated.

Besides the building fee that goes to Project Mexico, there is also the flight and the van rental to pay as well, so the total per person ends up being nearer to $1500.   However, there is a “FORCE” scholarship that will pay for half the fee, and also we can usually find a donor that would help someone who would like to go but can not afford it. You’ll also need a passport, or real-id, for border crossing.
